When my craving turns to wasabi mashed potatoes, I rush to Roppongi for a dose of east-west fusion cuisine.
For a good juicy burger I head out to Hodad's in Ocean beach. After a long walk at the beach the fish tacos at South beach bar & grill look very tempting. Of all the Mexican joints in San Diego, my favourite no-frill Mexican "hole in the wall" restaurant is the Porkyland in La Jolla. Their food is so good (try their Al pastor tacos) that they don't need a web page. If you really want some world class but simple mexican food, plan a trip to La Super Rica in Santa Barbara.
Florence, Italy is my favourite city for food. My favourite is the Il Latini. The first trattoria I visited there was the Mario. Their tuscan cannellini beans with freshly harvested olive oil and a dash of black pepper is simply divine!
The best Indian restaurant, outside India, is The Rajpoute. Check them out when you are in Geneva (Switzerland that is) area. The restaurant is near Ornex, France. Tell Mr. Mustafa that Sharma sent ya!
As you can see, I like food !
